WHS Student Connor O'Neill wins State Golf Championship


Connor O’Neill became the first State Golf Champion in WHS history. Playing May 25-26 at Apple Tree Golf Resort in Yakima, Connor, a junior, came back from four strokes down with a final round of 68 to take Medalist Honors. A strong 21st Place showing by freshman teammate Beau Scott carried the Panthers to a 3rd Place Team Trophy. Congratulations to Connor, Beau, Coach Brian Anderson and the rest of the Panther Boys Golf Team on an outstanding season.
