Rotary Scholar of the Month - Anthony Valdez

Anthony Valdez was selected as the Camas Washougal Rotary Scholar of the Month for October 2010. Anthony's biology teacher, Pauline Rule says that, "Anthony always has a positive attitude, is intelligent, a self-starter and a natural leader. He influences others around him in a positive way and I wish we had a hundred more students like him." Other teachers noted that Anthony assists other students and always joins students who need partners, ensuring that no one is left out. He is well-liked by his peers and teachers. His intrinsic discipline to work hard in the classroom serves as an example for others. Anthony is a member of the symphonic band, has a 3.9 GPA, is president of the Sophomore class and past president of the Freshman class. Congratulations, Anthony Valdez!
